Our mission at Out Of Bounds Podcast is to give sports fans a more authentic connection to the sport by having the opportunity to understand their favorite players outside of their sport. Today, it is very easy to be judged through various media outlets, and sometimes we forget that these athletes are normal people too. We want to spread awareness on this situation with real stories, and have a bunch of fun along the way!
Noah Fernandes, a Massachusetts native, began playing sports at a young age; ranging from football, lacrosse, baseball, and soccer, before ultimately finding a passion for basketball. After winning Old Rochester High School's first-ever state championship, he spent three years at Tabor Academy(MA) before completing a post-graduate year at
Noah Fernandes, a Massachusetts native, began playing sports at a young age; ranging from football, lacrosse, baseball, and soccer, before ultimately finding a passion for basketball. After winning Old Rochester High School's first-ever state championship, he spent three years at Tabor Academy(MA) before completing a post-graduate year at Woodstock Academy. Noah earned several Division One scholarships and began his collegiate basketball career at Wichita State University, playing for one year before transferring to the University of Massachusetts where he averaged over 10 points and 4 assists per game, boasting a 45% shooting success from the three-point line in the 2022-2023 season and securing some game-winning shots. After graduating from UMass, Fernandes is currently concluding his college career at Rutgers University.
Hailing from Attleboro, a small town in Massachusetts, Michael Perry didn't always dream of playing high-level basketball. Initially, his heart was set on baseball, until junior high where he realized his passion for the game of basketball. Perry spent his early high school years at Bishop Feehan High School before transferring to Tabor
Hailing from Attleboro, a small town in Massachusetts, Michael Perry didn't always dream of playing high-level basketball. Initially, his heart was set on baseball, until junior high where he realized his passion for the game of basketball. Perry spent his early high school years at Bishop Feehan High School before transferring to Tabor Academy. It was at Tabor that he would meet and share the court with Noah Fernandes and CJ Redd. After graduating, Perry continued his basketball journey at Wheaton College where he honed his skills on the collegiate level. From there he pursued professional opportunities in Spain where he sharpened his attention to detail while realizing the nuanced difference in approach between European and American basketball development.
Michael's passion extends further then playing and is exemplified in his business , One Percent Club LLC, which exemplifies youth skill development.He also coaches at Nobles and Greenough School and for Middlesex Magic AAU.
CJ, a New York native, spent a lot of time around the game in his youth and always had aspirations of playing high level basketball. CJ emerged as a standout basketball player during his three years at Peekskill High School, earning all-state honors, amongst other accolades. He honed his skills further at Tabor Academy before showcasing h
CJ, a New York native, spent a lot of time around the game in his youth and always had aspirations of playing high level basketball. CJ emerged as a standout basketball player during his three years at Peekskill High School, earning all-state honors, amongst other accolades. He honed his skills further at Tabor Academy before showcasing his talent at Trinity College(CT), where he averaged 11 points and 4 rebounds per game over his career. He endured multiple injuries during his career and it has shaped his approach to overall athletics. His journey reflects a commitment to excellence and a passion for the game. CJ runs One Percent Club CT LLC, a training organization committed to excellence,has experience coaching High School and Middle School AAU, and is currently boys varsity assistant coach at Loomis Chaffee.
